Spring Break!

For spring break we went to Phoenix, AZ. We were able to stop in St. George and visit Grandpa and Grandma Cooper and my cousin Stacie (+ kids). Shannon's kids weren't able to go with us because their spring break was not during this time (but hopefully next time the school breaks will coincide). We were able to visit with Hans and Cindy and all their cute girls and Ian. It was a blast. The highlights of the trip were going to a spring training game, playing in the pool with Mariah, Madison and Annie (also....the chicken fights between kayla and dallin ontop of Shannon and Ian {see picture}), going out to dinner and of course Shannon's favorite was going to Last Chance (basically a Nordstrom outlet). We drove down--everybody did fairly well with the drive. We stopped multiple times to site see and we were able to see someone bungee jump off a bridge near the Grand Canyon. What we loved the most----the heat of course!!!

Happy Birthday Holly!

We had a fun birthday party for Holly at Classic Skating (in SLC). The kids were able to go on the bouncy rides and roller blade. We ate Pizza and had cake and ice cream! Everybody got worn out. Just look at all the red faces!!!

Easter

We had lots of fun Easter weekend. We were able to spend easter in SLC at Coach and Granny's house! Thanks for letting our huge family crash your house! It was fun to see everyone. Unfortuanatley none of our kids won the "Golden Egg" that had $20.00. Hailey won it and we all vote that she be eliminated from next years' hunt! Ha ha.... just kidding. We didn't manage to get one picture of all the kids together with all the chaos....8 kids now. So here are some individual pictures. Of course the girls wanted to pose in their dresses (except Kayla who was tired). The boys weren't to thrilled about getting church clothes for easter either. Hence, no picture of Dallin except for when he was getting ready for the easter egg hunt outside.

Cassidy is 2 months old!

Cassie is 2 months old. We were able to bless her on March 2, 2008. It was fun to have a lot of our family members here. We missed those who weren't able to make it. Shannon gave a wonderful blessing and we had a yummy brunch after. Cassie is a bundle of joy now that she is not sick! Yeah!!! She smiles all the time. One thing that we really like to do, is say...... "Cassie smile if you think Jacob Waters is ugly" (Kayla's boy that is a friend) and she smiles!!! It's hilarious. She is also sleeping through the night now. I don't know how I got so lucky but I'm enjoying all the sleep I can get.

Cassie

Thank you Grandma Jenkins for making Cassie such a cute dress. She wore it to church on Sunday and was the cutest baby around! Too bad her head was to big for the matching hat! Everyone thought she looked like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.

Cassidy will be blessed on March 2, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. All are invited. We will have a yummy breakfast gathering at our house after the blessing. Stay tuned for blessing pictues.

Carley

Carley has some very big news! She just bought 2 fish with the money she earned. She named them Fifi and Sammy. Carley has some school news.....she can now read! Yeah. We are proud of you Carley!

Amber

Shannon was able to go down to Colorado to spend the weekend with the kids. One of the highlights of his weekend was being able to watch Amber play basketball. Amber plays point guard. She is one of the best on the team (of course). Her sisters and brother also like to go watch her. They had a fun weekend swimming at the hotel and getting in trouble by the hotel management because they were to loud!!!! Ha ha.
